You cannot see outside. Your instruments are all you have.

Navigate a deep-sea site with active sonar, still photographs, and a hydrophone. Find wrecks, recover samples, and bring back signals from the dark. Your battery, air, and hull will only last so long—and every engine movement and sonar ping gives something out there a chance to find you.

Stop making noise. Move before it reaches the place you were.

What is in this build

• Story dives, a seeded free-dive mode, and SEA TRIALS: a safe training dive.
• Six cockpit instruments, with sonar, photographs, and decoded signals.
• Leave the pilot’s seat to repair leaks and reset breakers.
• Fire decoys, rig for silent running, and manage battery and air.
• Completed tasks save a checkpoint so you can return to an unfinished dive.

This is an early build. The handling, creature behaviour, and audio still need tuning through human playtesting.

Play in the browser

Play on a computer, or on a phone or tablet held sideways. Click Run game, then begin with SEA TRIALS. Use the fullscreen button for the clearest view.

On a touch screen: the pad under your left thumb is the rudder and the ballast, the engine and the sonar are under your right, touch an instrument screen to lean in to it, and drag to look around.

Headphones recommended. The ship computer speaks with your browser’s voice, and its messages also appear as text.

The browser version is new and has not yet been played on a real phone. If it will not run, or runs badly, try the Windows download below.

1. Download and extract the ZIP.
2. Run DEEPSUB.exe. Nothing needs installing.
3. Press Enter and begin with SEA TRIALS.

Needs Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Headphones recommended. The executable is unsigned, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning.

The ship computer uses your installed Windows speech voice; all messages also appear as text. Full controls and credits are included in the ZIP.

If the instruments are hard to read, press O on the title screen and raise RESOLUTION to 720 or 1080.
